SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide visitation for PCC Congregants as needed and as available
- Provide pastoral care by leading Memorial Services for PCC Congregants as needed and as available
- Ongoing desire and effort to grow more Christ-like in character.
- Ability to discern care needs and respond appropriately, sensitively, and proactively.
- Skilled and sensitive listener, appropriate use of Scripture and prayer.
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Kind, caring, and sensitive particularly with individuals experiencing distress.
- Honest and trustworthy, integrity for work habits and results.
- Faithful follower of Jesus
- Ordained minister preferred
- Masters of Divinity or equivalent preferred; D Min., CPE or APC certification a plus.
- Minimum of five years related experience in a church, hospital or other ministry setting
- Current and clean CA DMV record and required auto insurance.
- Must adhere to PCC’s Safe Church policies, including background check
- Position has flexible hours, not to exceed 10 hours per month
